This is a nintendo ds cover I made for Casey. It also has a pocket (cat) to hold the power cord. I still need to fix a snap to hold the flap shut. I got her something else, but wanted to try sewing again. Haven't since my halloween shoulder bag. Hope to do more of it. When the sewing machine is working right, its kinda nice.

Very cute! Love the cat -- now that you are back into sewing, it'll be addicting. :) The funny thing is, I wonder in 20 years what we will think of what we've done. I was laughing with my mom the other night about some of the things she use to crochet or sew for EVERYONE! One of these days my girls will be laughing and saying "remember when mom crocheted everyone those mice...." (Ok, so that's my mom because I can't crochet to save my life. :)
Now do you want to know what she uses the nintendo ds sleeve for? She uses it for her heeleys wheels or stoppers if the wheels are in the shoes and her tool to change them. So she is using it, just not for what Sheryl intended. :)
